What is Mardi Crawl?
The Lowcountry Parrothead Club proudly hosts its annual “Mardi Crawl” fundraiser each February, a tradition that has brought fun, music, and charitable giving to the community for 21 years. The club celebrated its 21st Annual Mardi Crawl this past February, continuing a long-standing event that has raised more than $400,000 for local charities throughout the Lowcountry. Recently relocated to the more centralized and vibrant Park Circle area, Mardi Crawl continues to grow while maintaining the laid-back Parrothead spirit that has made the event such a success over the years.
Mardi Crawl features live music, participating restaurants and bars, exciting prize giveaways, a 50/50 raffle, and a popular silent auction. Attendees travel from location to location enjoying food, drinks, entertainment, and fellowship while supporting a great cause. Participants are encouraged to dress in Mardi Gras attire, Parrot Head apparel, or simply whatever makes them feel comfortable and ready to have fun. The festivities also include a highly anticipated pre-party the evening before the main event, featuring additional live music, raffles, prizes, and opportunities to socialize with fellow Parrotheads and supporters.
The Lowcountry Parrothead Club is excited to partner with so many outstanding local restaurants and bars to continue growing the Mardi Crawl tradition and bringing the community together for a weekend of fun and philanthropy. The event has become a signature celebration for both the club and the community, combining the spirit of the Jimmy Buffett lifestyle with a strong commitment to charitable service.
